The primary disadvantage of the .JSDA format is that it belongs to an abandoned ecosystem. The original Jazer software is no longer updated or supported by its developer, making it exceptionally difficult to access old financial records on modern operating systems. Furthermore, because the data is encoded in a proprietary binary structure rather than standard open formats, standard spreadsheet applications or web browsers cannot open it. This creates a severe vendor lock-in problem for users trying to migrate their historical financial data.
