This format has severe limitations for modern distribution. It is a proprietary, closed project file. You cannot send a .JCW file to a student and expect them to open it. It requires the original Hot Potatoes desktop application to load, which can be an annoying hurdle if you switch devices or collaborate with teachers who lack the software.
