About IRCP files

The .IRCP file is a proprietary project file created by the discontinued Adobe SpeedGrade (originally developed by IRIDAS). It stores timeline structures, color grading layers, and exact file paths to external video media. It does not contain any video or audio data itself.

This format has major disadvantages for modern workflows. Adobe discontinued SpeedGrade in 2017 and removed the "Direct Link" feature from Adobe Premiere Pro in the CC 2015.3 update. This makes .IRCP files exceptionally difficult to open, read, or migrate on current operating systems without maintaining legacy software installations.

Users typically attempt to convert .IRCP files to PRPROJ (Premiere Pro Project) or XML to salvage complex timeline data, or export the color data to CUBE (3D LUTs) for use in modern grading tools like DaVinci Resolve.

Standard online converters fail to process this format because .IRCP is a closed, proprietary file. Online tools lack the original Adobe rendering engine and, crucially, do not have access to the local video files referenced on your hard drive. Often, only the original legacy software can properly read or export the data. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, such as plain text XML data, viewing or partial conversion may still be possible.

Convert.Guru analyzes your IRCP file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
