About FCDT files

The .FCDT file is a FormsCentral Design Template originally used by the now-defunct Adobe FormsCentral service to structure fillable PDF and web forms. Users relied on the FormsCentral application to edit these files before exporting them to PDF. Adobe retired FormsCentral in 2015, making .FCDT files highly problematic today. It is an obsolete, proprietary format that requires discontinued software to open. Modern web browsers and current Adobe Acrobat subscriptions do not natively support it. You must convert these templates to PDF, HTML, or DOCX to restore their usability, though complex validation logic is usually lost. Because this is a closed format, standard online converters fail to process it. Usually, only the original software can properly export the layout. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or conversion may still be possible.

Convert.Guru analyzes your FCDT file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
