About DCUIL files

The .DCUIL file is a Delphi .NET Compiled Unit File. It contains compiled Object Pascal code targeted at the Microsoft .NET framework, generated by legacy versions of Embarcadero Delphi such as Delphi 8 or Delphi 2005. Developers use these files to link compiled modules into executables or dynamic libraries. This format is strictly proprietary and tightly coupled to the specific compiler version that built it. A major disadvantage of .DCUIL files is their lack of forward or backward compatibility. You cannot open a .DCUIL file built in Delphi 2005 using a modern Delphi compiler. Additionally, the Delphi .NET compiler initiative was abandoned over a decade ago, making these files obsolete legacy artifacts.
