It contains character rigged models (.CTACTOR), custom props (.CTPROP), Z-axis depth information, sound effects, voiceovers, and complex timeline keyframes.
The main disadvantage of the .CTPROJECT format is its heavily locked-in, proprietary nature. These files are useless to anyone who does not own a paid license for Cartoon Animator. They frequently exceed hundreds of megabytes in size, cannot be previewed natively in Windows or macOS, and are completely unsupported by standard video players or web browsers.
