About CSY files

A .csy file typically functions as a software plugin module for PRO100, an interior design application, or as a proprietary 3D model asset for the classic MMORPG Priston Tale. PRO100 plugins use the .csy extension but are structurally standard Windows executable (.EXE) files compiled using tools like GoLink or GoAsm. Because they are compiled machine code, they cannot be traditionally converted into standard document or image formats. Their main disadvantage is security; executing unknown .csy plugins poses severe malware risks. Alternatively, Priston Tale uses .csy files to store in-game 3D models and character assets. These are highly proprietary and locked to the game engine. Modders face significant challenges because standard 3D software like Blender cannot natively import them. You might want to convert them to .OBJ or .FBX for external rendering, but direct conversion is often blocked by game data encryption and requires community-built extraction scripts.
