About CEDPRJ files
A .cedprj file is an Ashampoo CoverEditor Project file. Users create these files using the label and cover designer tools built into Ashampoo Burning Studio or the standalone Ashampoo Cover Studio. It stores the complete layout of a CD, DVD, or Blu-ray cover, including text layers, imported graphics, and specific print dimensions.
The main disadvantage of the .cedprj format is its proprietary nature. It is not an actual image file, but rather a closed project container that links to or embeds design assets. You cannot view it in a web browser, and standard image editors like Adobe Photoshop or GIMP cannot open or read the layout instructions.
To easily print or share your disc cover, you need to convert the .cedprj file to a standard format like PDF, JPG, or PNG. Because this file format is difficult to open or convert outside of the Ashampoo ecosystem, standard online converters fail to process it. If our analysis detects a supported underlying or embedded format, viewing or extracting preview images may still be possible.
Convert.Guru analyzes your CEDPRJ file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.

The CEDPRJ Converter Story
The history of Convert.Guru began over 25 years ago in California with Tom Simondi’s file-format database. A former contributor to Space Shuttle development and a software pioneer of the 1980s, Simondi established a trusted resource for file type analysis that was even referenced by Microsoft Windows XP. Today, we use modern technology to process and convert thousands of file formats while continually improving our CEDPRJ converter.
