Because .BWG files are merely instructions for a specific, outdated Windows program (originally designed for Windows 98/XP), they cannot be played by standard media players like VLC or opened on mobile devices. To make these sessions usable, users must render the synthesis into a standard audio format. For highest quality archiving, convert the generated output to WAV or FLAC. For playback on smartphones or sharing, convert the stream to MP3.
