About ANTMPL files
The .ANTMPL file is an Adobe Edge Animate Template File created by the now-discontinued Adobe Edge Animate software. It was originally used by web designers to store reusable layouts, HTML5 animations, and media assets for interactive web projects.
The main disadvantage of the .ANTMPL format is that it relies entirely on obsolete software. Adobe Systems stopped developing Edge Animate in 2015. As a result, you cannot natively open this file in modern web browsers or even current Adobe products like Adobe Animate. This makes the files practically useless for most users today, as they require a $50/month legacy subscription or old hardware to open properly.
Because this is a closed, proprietary template format meant only for a specific, defunct application, standard online converters typically fail to process it. Standard converters do not have the parsers needed to interpret the legacy timeline and animation logic.
To recover your data, you should aim to extract the underlying web assets, transforming the project into standard HTML, JS, CSS, or extracting media like PNG and SVG.
Convert.Guru analyzes your ANTMPL file, detects the exact format, and lets you read the text inside.
